Zudem gewinnt das Unternehmen mit dem Gasdruckfederhersteller Stabilus einen bis heute zuverlässigen Partner.
Ilse steht von nun an mit innovativer Lift-Technik für höhenverstellbare und flexible Möbel und avanciert mithin europaweit zum Marktführer.
Auch in den folgenden Jahrzehnten schafft Ilse es, mit zahlreichen technischen Entwicklungen und Patenten auf der Höhe der Zeit zu bleiben, vor allem aber neue Impulse zu setzen.
1990 übernimmt das niederrheinische Familienunternehmen Vierhaus aus Rees die Ilse Werke.
Aus den Stärken beider Unternehmen entsteht das Konzept Smart home furniture, eine Produktlinie mit multifunktionalen Möbeln, wie geschaffen für kleine Räume.
Dabei erkennt Geschäftsführer und Inhaber Arndt Vierhaus schnell das Potential für eine wachsende Branche: die Caravan und Reisemobilindustrie.
